Once the risk assessment has been contextualised, the risks identified, the risk response provided and the remediation plans defined, the final step is to complete the demand. Completion marks the end of the assessment work and hands the follow-up to the Risk Registry and Remediation Plans modules.
1. Steps to complete the demand
- Open the demand and click its status chip to open the Demand Status drawer.
- Under Available actions, click Mark Completed.
- Confirm the action in the dialog.
The status becomes Completed. The demand's result stays visible to the requester, the timeline records who completed it and when, and the linked risks live on in the Risk Registry.
Note: If some linked risks are not completed yet, the drawer lists them and asks you to confirm with Proceed & Close before finalising.
2. Completion gates under an enforced workflow
With a review workflow enforced, completion is gated:
- The demand can only be completed after the requester has provided their risk response; before that, the analyst's end action is Send for Risk Response.
- With Multiple validation, every analyst approver must approve the response first; the drawer shows the approval checklist and unlocks completion when the round is complete (a workspace owner or Account Manager can override).
- With the Assurance review enforced, the closing action becomes Send for Final Approval: the demand moves to Pending Assurance and an Assurance reviewer completes it, or sends it back for more work.
3. After completion
A completed demand is read-only: an alert on the demand reminds you it can no longer be edited and must be reopened if changes are required (see Reopen a Demand). Cancelling instead of completing is also possible at any earlier stage with Cancel Demand: cancelling stops the work without completing it and cancels the linked risks and remediation plans with it, after an explicit confirmation listing them.
