Completed, cancelled and rejected demands are terminal and read-only. Restoration returns an eligible demand to active work while retaining the recorded history.
Decide whether to restore
Use restoration when the same assessment needs an authorised continuation or correction. Create a new demand when a new concern or materially changed environment requires a separate assessment cycle.
Review the action
Open the demand and choose View status. If Restore demand is available to your role, inspect its confirmation before proceeding. Restoring a completed demand is restricted to the account-management authority; do not assume every analyst or requester can reopen it.
Cancelled and rejected demands also follow their applicable role gates. When restoring cancelled work, review the treatment of the risks and plans that were cancelled with the demand.
Resume from the displayed stage
After restoration, inspect the resulting status, responsibilities and pending work. The permitted edits and transitions follow that stage and the review process. Check dates and ownership as well as assessment content before resuming the workflow.
