Under an enforced analyst workflow, the response handoff asks the requester to review the completed analysis and record the treatment decision. Save each risk and the demand's pending changes before starting the round.
Review the assessment
Check that the scenarios, current and target assessments, recommendations and supporting context are understandable. Missing assumptions should be resolved before asking someone to accept a decision.
Start the response round
As an authorised analyst, open View status → Send for risk response on an in-progress demand. Review the confirmation, add a message when useful and confirm the handoff.
The demand moves to Awaiting risk response. The requester can inspect the shared assessment and provide response values and justifications. Their response access does not permit unrestricted edits to the assessment itself.
If the handoff must be withdrawn, the analyst can use the available Cancel response round action to return the demand to assessment. Review the current stage before starting another round.
Direct review
A Direct demand does not use the mandatory analyst-response round. Authorised participants can record decisions within that process and proceed to completion when the assessment is ready, subject to the actions and checks shown by the demand.
