With a review workflow enforced, a submitted demand waits at Awaiting Acceptance until a reviewer triages it. All triage actions live in the Demand Status drawer, opened from the status chip on the demand.
1. Demand triage
The reviewer (a member holding the Analyst role) has three options, each explained by a tooltip in the drawer:
- Accept Demand: the intake is valid to work on.
- Request Information: details are missing; send the demand back to the requester.
- Reject Demand: the demand is out of scope or should not proceed.
2. Accepting a demand
- In the Demand Status drawer, click Accept Demand.
- Add any additional comments in the confirmation drawer, then confirm with Accept Demand.
The status becomes In Progress and the risk assessment can begin: risks can now be added to the demand.
3. Requesting more information
- Click Request Information, describe what is missing, and confirm with Request More Information.
The status becomes Needs Info. The requester sees an alert on the demand carrying your message (expand it with Show message), updates the relevant details inline, and clicks Send for review in the Demand Status drawer to hand the demand back. The status then shows Updated by Requester and the reviewer takes another look: accept, ask again, or reject.
4. Rejecting a demand
- Click Reject Demand, provide the justification, and confirm with Reject Demand.
The status becomes Rejected, a terminal state: the justification stays visible on the demand and the timeline is preserved. A rejected demand can later be restored if it should be reconsidered.
Note: Every triage action requires a confirmation, and the requester keeps editing rights on their own demand throughout the whole intake, up to acceptance.
