Identifying and documenting your systems is the foundation of security alignment and effective risk management. Creating a system in CSFaaS takes a few seconds: you start with just a name, then document the record progressively.

1. Add a System

  1. Open the Systems module from the left menu.
  2. Click the Add System button (the "+" icon at the top of the systems list).
  3. In the drawer that opens, enter a clear and descriptive System Name.
  4. Click Add System to confirm.

CSFaaS automatically assigns the new system a unique reference (for example SYS-000001) and adds it to the list.

2. Next Steps

A newly created system only carries its name. Select it in the list and complete its record across the details tabs (Context, Architecture, Data Information, Recovery, Complementary Information), as described in the next page.

Note: creating systems requires the System Management permission. If the action is unavailable, contact your workspace administrator.
