Applicable policy links identify governance requirements relevant to the demand. They help reviewers understand the expectations against which the requested change or current situation will be assessed.
Select the relevant records
Open Applicable policies → Manage policies. Search the available policy records and elements, select the appropriate items and choose Add selected.
The selector can include complete policies and their categories, subcategories or controls. Read the policy context and registered reference so that similarly named elements are not confused.
Use the relationship in assessment
Open a linked record in its own module when you need its full content or version context. Explain in the demand how the requirement applies and identify any uncertainty about its scope.
An applicable-policy link records context. A Recommended controls link on an individual risk records a proposed treatment measure. Use the appropriate relationship for each purpose; neither link by itself proves implementation or compliance.
Remove an obsolete link when it no longer applies. That action removes the demand relationship and does not delete the policy or control.
