Business goals explain which organisational outcomes the assessment supports or could put at risk. Choose goals that are relevant to this demand and explain that connection in its context.
Add existing goals
Open Business goals and objectives → Manage business goals. Search the available records, select the appropriate goals and choose Add selected. The action saves the relationships and displays each linked goal on the demand.
The selector uses the workspace's shared goal catalog. Maintain the vocabulary in Databases when an authorised catalog change is needed; adding a relationship does not create a new strategic objective.
Set the planning context
For each linked goal, choose its Timeline and Plan type, then use that goal's Save button. These fields describe the horizon and planning category of the goal in this demand.
They are separate from the demand's due date. A long-term business goal can still require an urgent assessment.
Maintain the relationship
Review linked goals when the scope changes. Remove link removes that demand relationship; it does not delete the goal from the workspace catalog. Keep the remaining context consistent with the goals you retain.
