Third parties are maintained directly on their page: there is no separate edit screen. Select a third party in the list and, with the right permissions, every field of the details tabs can be edited in place.
1. Editing a Third Party
- Select the third party in the list.
- Change any field across the tabs (Information, Data Classification, Related Systems, Complementary Information). The name is edited like any other field, through the Third Party Name field of the Information tab.
- Your changes are collected by the floating save bar at the bottom of the page. Click Save to commit them all at once, or Discard to drop them.
The save bar guards your work: if you try to leave the page or select another third party while changes are pending, CSFaaS asks you to confirm first. Only one person can edit a third party page at a time: if a colleague is already editing, a floating pill shows who has the hand and lets you request control with Take hand.
To set or change the third party's logo, click the image in the details panel header: the Edit Third Party Image drawer lets you upload, adjust or delete it.
2. Define or Update Owners
Click the Owners & Contacts icon in the details panel header to view, assign or update the internal owners of the third party. Explicit ownership keeps accountability clear and feeds the Reviews & Ownership overview.
3. Deleting a Third Party
- Open the More actions menu (the three vertical dots in the details panel header).
- Select Delete Third Party.
- Confirm in the dialog.
The action is irreversible: the third party and its record are permanently removed.
Note: deleting requires the Delete level of the Third Party Management permission; without it, the menu is hidden.
