The Policies module gives decision-makers, auditors and stakeholders a visual read on policy maturity and control implementation, so you can see where the organisation stands and where to invest next.
1. The Policy Statistics Panel
Click Statistics in the page header to open the panel (and Hide Statistics to close it). It shows the maturity distribution across your policy structure:
- Chart types: Radar, Sankey and Heatmap views of the same data.
- Levels: the standard 0 to 5 maturity scale, from Not defined through Initial, Developing, Defined and Managed to Optimized.
- Current vs target: switch between the current assessment and your target levels to spot the gaps.
- Drill-down: move from the whole policy set into a single policy, its categories and subcategories, with element counts at each level.
Note: maturity analytics belong to the confidential layer; the Statistics button is only available to members holding the Policy Confidential Details permission.
2. Control Completion at a Glance
In the policy tree itself, every control shows its completion percentage, and categories and subcategories show the average completion of their controls. This gives you a live progression view without leaving the structure.
3. Filter Deeper with the Controls Page
For fine-grained analysis and filtering, open the Controls module. Its filter drawer lets you slice all your policy controls by completion percentage, current and target maturity, weighting, business units, functional domains, control functions, control types, security domains, information security properties, operational capabilities, privacy functions, security baselines and policies.
