For organisations with unique needs, CSFaaS allows the creation of custom frameworks tailored to specific business practices, risk management strategies or industry requirements. This flexibility ensures your security and compliance efforts align closely with organisational goals and can adapt as your environment evolves.
1. Create a Custom Framework
- Navigate to the Frameworks section.
- Click the blue Add a Framework button.
- In the Import Framework drawer, choose Start from Scratch.
- The Create New Framework form opens. Pick an icon (emoji), enter a Framework Name and an optional Description.
- Click Create Framework.
A new empty framework is added to your workspace.
2. Build the Structure
Open the framework and use the Framework Structure panel to add your first domain, then categories and subcategories inside it. The next sections explain how to manage each level, define applicability and maturity, and assign owners.
Tip: mirror the vocabulary your organisation already uses; you can reorganise the whole structure later with drag and drop.
