Your workspace data belongs to you. The CSFaaS Platform API gives you complete, permission-scoped access to every module of your workspace, so you can pull anything into your own tooling, archives or auditor packs whenever you need it.
The former Exports section of Workspace Settings has been retired in favour of the API: instead of one-shot file downloads, you get live, filterable access to the same data through a stable, machine-readable contract.
1. Get Access
Open Settings, API & MCP and create an API key, or connect an AI assistant over MCP. A key authenticates as the user it is bound to and sees exactly what that user can see. The API & MCP Settings page of this chapter covers key management, workspace access switches and connected AI clients in detail.
2. Pull Your Data
Every module is available under https://api.csfaas.com/v2. A few examples:
# List your risks curl -H "Authorization: Bearer csfaas_sk_..." "https://api.csfaas.com/v2/risks"Walk a whole dataset page by page
curl -H "Authorization: Bearer csfaas_sk_..." "https://api.csfaas.com/v2/systems?page=2&page_size=100"
Readable text output with selected fields
curl -H "Authorization: Bearer csfaas_sk_..." "https://api.csfaas.com/v2/policies?format=text&fields=name,status"
List responses are paginated with page and page_size; keep going until a page comes back empty. The complete reference, with every resource, filter and field, lives at api.csfaas.com/v2.
Tip: a connected AI assistant can do the walking for you. Ask it for "all my third parties with their latest risk assessments as a table" and it will pull the data over MCP.
