ISO/IEC 42001 specifies requirements for an artificial intelligence management system. It helps organisations developing, providing or using AI establish governance, manage relevant risks and opportunities, and improve their management practices. See the ISO/IEC 42001 publication page.
Use in a programme
Define the AI systems, roles and activities within scope. Assign responsibility for the management system and retain evidence of the decisions, processes and reviews used to govern those activities.
An AI management system supports responsible practice; it does not guarantee that every AI output is fair, accurate or secure. Evaluate the relevant systems and impacts in their actual context.
Use in CSFaaS
ISO/IEC 42001 was not present in the reference library reviewed for this documentation update. Check the live library for availability or contact CSFaaS about the required edition and language.
Where appropriate, prepare an attributed custom framework using source material your organisation is entitled to use. Keep management-system requirements separate from individual prompt instructions or integration settings. Completing an internal framework does not itself confer ISO certification.
