ISO 9001 specifies requirements for a quality management system. It supports consistent processes, customer focus, performance evaluation and continual improvement. It does not promise flawless products or services in every case. See the ISO 9001:2015 publication page.
Use in a programme
Define the quality management system's scope, accountable process owners and intended outcomes. Connect procedures, performance information, internal review and corrective action to the relevant requirements.
Keep quality-management objectives distinct from information-security requirements, while coordinating shared governance and improvement processes where appropriate.
Use in CSFaaS
The reviewed library offers ISO 9001:2015 in English, French and Spanish. Record that edition explicitly. ISO's publication page identifies revision activity toward a replacement edition, so check its current status and applicable amendments before starting a new programme or transition.
Use the imported structure to organise applicability, ownership, policy links and evidence. Review the source scope rather than assuming the catalogue includes every amendment. Framework approval is an internal workflow and does not issue ISO certification.
