Framing is how you match CSFaaS to your organisation's maturity: it switches platform capabilities on or off across the whole workspace, so your team only sees the features it actually uses. A lean team can hide advanced options entirely; a mature GRC function can enable everything.
When you created your workspace, you were asked to pick a starting feature set (Minimal, Standard or Optimal). That choice was only a starting point: everything it enabled or hid can be adjusted at any time from the Framing section.
1. Opening the Framing Section
- Open Settings from the left menu.
- Select Framing in the settings sidebar (under the Workspace group).
The page invites you to "Tailor your workspace": pick a section on the left, then switch the capabilities your team needs on or off.
2. How the Page Is Organised
The Framing page mirrors your workspace navigation. On the left, one entry per product section: Business Profile, Audit, Frameworks, Policies, Demands, Risks, Third Parties, Systems, Forms, Databases and Evidences. Each entry shows how many of its capabilities are currently active.
Selecting a section reveals its capabilities on the right, presented as cards you can toggle individually. The next page describes how those capability cards work.
3. Showing or Hiding a Whole Section
Each section also has a master switch:
- Disable section hides the entire module from the workspace navigation, for every member.
- Enable section brings it back, together with the capabilities you had selected.
The page always states whether a section is "Shown in your workspace navigation" or hidden, so there is no ambiguity about what your team currently sees. A section must be enabled before its individual capabilities can be configured.
Note: framing changes apply to the whole workspace, not just to you. If a colleague reports a missing menu or a missing field, check the Framing section first.
