CSFaaS connects your organization's business context, compliance requirements, risk decisions and supporting evidence in one workspace. Start by confirming the workspace selected in the navigation, then open the area that matches the work you need to do.
Understand the workspace
A workspace defines the environment in which you read and manage records. Your role determines which records and actions are available. Being a member of several workspaces does not combine their contents into one register.
The workspace selector is at the top of the left navigation. Check it before creating a record, reviewing metrics or configuring a connection. The module lists and dashboard reflect the selected workspace and your access to it.
Find your way around
| Navigation group | Available areas | Start here when you need to… |
|---|---|---|
| Workspace | Dashboard, Business context, Activity logs | Understand the organization, review the overview or trace recorded activity |
| Compliance | Frameworks, Policies, Controls, Audit | Define requirements, organize policies, assess controls and conduct audits |
| Risk | Demands, Risks, Remediation | Request an assessment, evaluate a risk or follow treatment actions |
| Catalogs | Third Parties, Systems, Databases, Prompts | Maintain the inventories and reusable content used by other workflows |
| Operations | Integrations, Forms, Evidences | Collect service data, gather responses and retain supporting material |
Settings is at the bottom of the workspace navigation. Available settings and management actions depend on your permissions.
Use the navigation's Search control to look for accessible items across the workspace. A module's own search and filters narrow the list inside that module. They serve different scopes, so check which search you are using if an item is missing.
Follow a practical starting sequence
- Review Business context so your team works from an agreed description of the organization and its objectives.
- Ask a workspace administrator to confirm the members, roles and assessment settings needed for your process.
- Build the relevant inventories, including systems and third parties.
- Select the frameworks and organize the policies and controls that support your objectives.
- Use demands, risk assessments and remediation to record decisions and follow-up work.
- Gather evidence and responses, then review the resulting posture through audits and the dashboard.
You do not need every module for every task. For example, a colleague invited to contribute evidence may work within a narrower scope than the people administering the workspace.
Work with records
Registers help you find records; a selected record opens the relevant details and actions. Depending on the module, you can keep the list visible alongside the record and use a right-hand rail for ownership, review information, evidence, comments or activity.
Read action labels and state messages before making a change. Some fields save immediately, while other editors retain a draft until you choose Save. A pending or failed operation is not a confirmed update.
If you are exploring a demonstration workspace, treat its records as examples. Confirm the intended workspace before beginning your organization's real configuration or assessment work.
