Open the Inbox from the icon in the top-right header. It shows notifications addressed to you in the selected workspace, with an unread count. Brief confirmation messages elsewhere in the app report the result of an action; the Inbox provides a persistent list to revisit.

Find the relevant notification

Choose All, Unread or Read, then use Search notifications… to narrow the list. The page controls at the bottom move through the results. Display options lets you choose newest or oldest first and prioritise unread entries.

Select a notification to open its related item or available detail. Opening it marks it as read. Its read state only records whether you have reviewed the notification; it does not approve a request, close a risk or complete the work described in the message.

Manage read state

Use an entry's read control to mark it read or unread. Select individual entries, or Select all on this page, to apply a bulk read-state action to that selection.

Mark all as read applies to your unread notifications in the current workspace, including entries outside the visible page. Use it only when that is the intended scope.

Follow records or entire sections

Use the follow control in a record's activity area to subscribe to its events. In the Inbox, Items I follow helps you revisit followed records and manage those subscriptions.

For broader coverage, open Display options → Follow entire sections and choose the sections you want to follow. Following a busy section can produce many notifications. The Busiest first and In section order options help organise the followed-items view.

Following records affects notifications; it does not grant access to records that your workspace permissions do not allow you to read.

Workspace administrators also configure which transactional events may generate notifications in Settings → Events. Your personal follow choices do not override that workspace policy.

Respond to a request

Some notifications provide workflow or invitation actions. Read the record, requested decision and available controls before acting. A request can become unavailable if another participant has already handled it or your access has changed. Refresh the relevant item when its current state differs from an earlier notification.

If the Inbox reports a loading or update failure, retry the operation and confirm the resulting state. An unread badge is a count of notifications, not a count of unresolved business tasks.
